2005 Hyundai Sonata

The 2005 Hyundai Sonata is the final year model for the updated third generation in the Sonata lineup of vehicles. The engine choices start with the baseline 2.4L Inline-4 producing 149HP and 157FTLB of torque and ends with the higher-end 2.7L V-6 engine capable of producing 170HP and 181FTLB of torque.

The 2005 Hyundai Sonata is a mid-size sedan on a front-wheel-drive platform that comes mated with either a 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission that sits the Sonata on 106” wheel-base tires for incredible traction and control.

Fuel economy has been rated at an EPA-estimated 19mpg in the city and 27mpg on the highway for the 2.7L V-6 while the 2.4L Inline-4 comes in with an EPA-estimated 22mpg around the city and 30mpg on the highway.
